Ghazi Muhammad
General Manager
Ghazi is the General Manager of Angstrom Design + Build. He has over eight years of construction and design experience and three bachelor's degrees from the Illinois Institute of Technology. With former roles in project management and engineering, he brings an extensive list of experiences and leadership to the team. Ghazi is dedicated to helping his clients accomplish their goals by utilizing cutting-edge technology and bringing together the right team for each project. His accomplishments include 10-large scale redevelopment projects and designing/building the O’Hare Chiller expansion project, including managing the construction of high priority and top tier construction and design projects. While at work, you can typically find Ghazi trying to improve the process and technology involved with building of projects. He believes there is always a more efficient way of doing things, and he seeks to find it! His hobbies include boxing and triathlons and spending time with friends and family. Ghazi is an active member of the community through volunteer work and brings his knowledge to deliver projects that make his clients proud.

Said Sanni
Safety Manager.
Said is a contract manager at Angstrom Design + Build with over 10 years of experience in the construction and design industry. With a bachelor's and master's degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology, he has overseen projects of various sizes with success. His broad knowledge base spans from general contracting to architecture services including AI research. Said has experience with design and engineering, as well as construction management duties. His work includes residential to commercial projects where he oversees all aspects of the project from engineering to document preparation as they relate to contracts. Said is an engineer by trade and has an eye for detail. His attention to detail ensures that your contract is prepared in a way that ensures all parties receive what they are expecting. Some of his largest clients include Ford and Woodward, where he managed a staff of 10+. Said is a community activist and advocate for disadvantaged groups in society. He brings his extensive knowledge to deliver efficient, high-quality service to the clients of Angstrom Design + Build. Said focuses on the best interest of his clients in all aspects of their projects; whether that is finding a great property, finding an architect to fit your needs, or finding the right contractor to build your dream home or commercial property: Said will be there every step of the way!

Project Engineer
Carrington Washington is a skilled construction professional with a strong background in the industry. His passion for construction began in high school, where he pursued it as a trade and quickly recognized its practical value and potential. He enjoys the hands-on aspect of his work, particularly the opportunity to witness projects transform from concept to completion. Carrington is committed to continuously developing his skills and expertise to contribute to the success of each project at Angstrom Design + Build. Carrington was inspired by the Angstrom and joined it because of the positive, team-oriented environment and is eager to grow within the company. His career goals include advancing to a leadership role, where he can manage large-scale projects and make a significant impact. Besides his work time, Carrington enjoys staying active by playing basketball, going to the gym, and engaging in video games. His favorite food is chicken, appreciating its versatility in various dishes. Dedicated and ambitious, Carrington aims to make the most of his opportunities at Angstrom while giving back by sharing his knowledge with others.

Construction Manager
Harshal Shardul is an imaginative and detail-oriented professional with a passion for architecture and design. His love for envisioning innovative spaces began early in his career, driven by the desire to create environments that inspire and bring out the best in people. Harshal’s expertise spans various areas, including construction management, site supervision, estimating, and scheduling, as he is committed to learning every aspect of bringing designs to life. Harshal brings his passion for architecture and design to Angstrom, inspired by Ghazi's dynamic leadership and the company's collaborative environment. He is dedicated to applying his expertise in design and construction to enhance project outcomes. He applies his expertise to enhance project outcomes and is committed to driving large-scale projects that reflect Angstrom's high standards. Apart from work, Harshal enjoys long walks around the city, swimming, and working out. He also loves watching "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" for its lightheartedness and humor. A dedicated home cook, his favorite meal to prepare is paneer tikka masala. Harshal is eager to share his cultural heritage and experiences, enriching both his team and his projects.

Project Engineer
Jamil Smith brings a distinctive background in show and video production to his role at Angstrom: Design + Build, where he embraces the challenges of project management. He was drawn to Angstrom by the desire to be part of something bigger than himself and to take on responsibilities that demand his best effort. For Jamil, project management is the perfect path to develop new skills, keep his mind sharp, and handle significant responsibilities, aligning well with his goal of continual professional growth. At Angstrom, Jamil is committed to achieving success in all his endeavors, while shedding habits that hinder his growth and striving to make a meaningful contribution. Thomas Ermon is an innovative interior designer who brings a deep passion for creativity and problem-solving to his work at Angstrom: Design + Build. With a strong background in interior design, Thomas joined Angstrom to leverage the company’s focus on innovation and growth, allowing him to gain hands-on experience across both the front and back end of design projects. His curiosity about how things work drives his approach to design, ensuring that each project is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. At Angstrom, Thomas is committed to contributing to the team’s success by continually improving his skills and efficiency. He is focused on professional growth and aims to become a well-rounded designer capable of handling diverse challenges. Outside of work, Thomas channels his creativity into music and painting, with a particular love for playing the guitar and writing songs. His favorite food tacos fuels his creative energy. Babatunde Olukoye
Quality Control Engineer
Babatunde is a project engineer with over a decade of experience in the world of design, engineering, and construction. He brings his extensive knowledge to deliver efficient and cost-effective projects to the clients of Angstrom Design + Build. Babatunde’s prior work experience includes consulting for large firms such as Metra and CNA. At Angstrom Design + Build, he focuses his efforts on cost management and ensuring every contract is adhered to from start to finish. He takes pride in his ability to meet the needs of our clients with his local knowledge and understanding of regional markets. Babatunde has completed projects of all sizes; he has experience in design, permitting and approvals, cost estimating, and construction. Babatunde is an adept communicator who works closely with each client to ensure smooth and efficient project delivery. Babatunde holds a Mechanical Engineer degree from Illinois Institute of Technology. Since joining Angstrom Design + Build, he has completed multiple projects with budgets ranging from 2 million to over 10 million. Babatunde spends his time off playing soccer and having lived in the city of Chicago for most of his life.

Antonio Richardson
Senior Site Superintendent
Antonio Richardson is a Project Manager who manages construction and design projects at Angstrom Design + Build. Having a background in Architecture with combination of being an artist, Antonio has developed a keen eye for details. Hence, giving our clients incredible feedback in regards to different design models. Antonio has 35 years of vast working experience in interior designing, remodeling, and painting different residential and commercial properties. His ability to assess customers' choices and provide them with a final quality product is second to none. He has done Specialization in Interior and Exterior Painting and is very professional in utilizing his skills in making the properties worth watching and living according to the modern designs and living standards. Antonio has a strong sense of designing and painting, and he enjoys doing what he is capable of. He has also designed a variety of cabinets for multiple clients according to their requirements.
